I’ve not posted a feel good Friday post in some time, and decided I needed to share a bit of elephant love!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend.
Showcasing the beauty of Mother Nature
I’ve not posted a feel good Friday post in some time, and decided I needed to share a bit of elephant love!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend.
I’ve had an amazing week of wildlife viewing so far, and I am really looking forward to sharing that on my What I’ve seen this week post on Sunday. But for today, I thought I would share one of my artistic impressions with you, since it has been a while since I’ve done so.
This was created using the Topaz Simplify plug in for Photoshop.

This sighting made me smile; watching these cubs playing with each other while their Mom and the pride males lounged around nearby.
I’ll have a few more images to share from this experience in the coming weeks and months 🙂
Wishing everyone a great weekend ahead!

These are the pictures that jumped out at me to post today; I’m not sure why, but I decided to run with it. 🙂
These are from my time in Damaraland, Namibia. We had the opportunity to explore the Twyfelfontein World Heritage Site to see the bushman rock art. The rock art depicts people, the animals and birds of the region, and even the location of both permanent and seasonal waterholes.
If you’d like to learn more about the area, here is a link to a wiki page about it.
I for one am very happy it’s Friday and the weekend is nearly here. After a computer meltdown last weekend, I am back up and running and will be able to get back to my normal posting schedule.
It’s no surprise that I love elephants, and this photo was taken during my last trip to South Africa, when we stopped our vehicle in the bushes and watched the herb graze and amble along. Always a wonderful moment 🙂
Happy Friday! While it’s great for these elephants to have a sand bath, don’t go getting into any dust ups this weekend! 😉
I think this cheetah is looking towards the weekend, just like I am!
Happy Friday Everyone!
It’s almost the weekend again! Where does the time go? While I am busy working in the background on my new photos, here is a lovely elephant from my last trip to South Africa.
Happy Friday everyone!
I returned earlier this week from an amazing holiday to Uganda and Kenya. I’ve barely had time to load all my photos and video into Lightroom, let alone start editing, but I wanted to post one photo, the main reason I booked the trip.
I will be sharing loads more photos, and lots of stories over the coming weeks and months. I met wonderful people, saw beautiful landscapes, and witnessed an abundance of wildlife.
It’s been awhile, so I had to get some elephants on again for my Feel Good Friday post. Just look at that little baby!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend ahead 🙂
Please note, I’m away for several weeks, so I have scheduled my regular Monday, Wednesday and Friday posts in advance. I will moderate and respond to any comments just as soon as I am able.
I am hoping to be taking loads of photos, so if you would like to follow along, please feel free to give my page a like on Facebook @jennifersawickyphotography and a follow over on Instagram at jensawicky.
