2017-05-22: Monochrome Monday
I returned home from an amazing holiday a few days ago and have only just managed to get all my photos loaded into Lightroom, so it will be a little while before I will be able to post photos from my recent adventures. If you’ve followed me over on Facebook or Instagram though, you already have some hints as to where I have been and what I have been seeing 🙂
Good thing I still have a stock of photos from my last trip, edited and ready to share, like these elephants from Amboseli National Park in Kenya. The elephant sightings were amazing there, and I think I can safely say, were even more amazing on this most recent trip. So stay tuned for some stories on interesting elephants encounters (and some non-elephant encounters too). Until then, have a great day!

2017-05-15: Monochrome Monday
It seems a bit strange to pre-schedule posts so far in advance. As I type this, it is still April, and when this gets uploaded, I’ll be on my last week of holidays in Africa. I know I will be coming home with lots of images and stories to share.
This week’s selection is another mixed bag from my time in Kenya.
I hope you enjoy, and have a wonderful week.

2017-04-23: Amboseli in Black and White
There is just something about the Amboseli landscape that really appeals to me for monochrome images. The starkness of many of the areas, the elephants towering over the flat, seemingly endless plains.
Here is a selection of images from this beautiful place.
I hope you enjoy, and have a lovely day.

2017-03-24: Feel Good Friday
I’ve not posted a feel good Friday post in some time, and decided I needed to share a bit of elephant love!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend.
2016 Year in Review #1
The most popular post of the year, in terms of views, was of my favourite, elephants 🙂 Good choice everyone!
I chose a pair of adorable baby elephants for my post 2016-05-24: WPC Jubilant. These little ones thrilled us with their antics for quite some time before being rounded up by the adults to head off. The harsh shadows in this image caused me to dismiss it the first time around, but you can still see a playful glint in the eye, which is what this little one was all about.
So there you have it, the end of a short and sweet wrap up of the year. Thank you to everyone for stopping by, sharing your likes and comments, and spending a few moments a couple times a week seeing the world through my eyes. I’m looking forward to 2017; I have a few new post ideas percolating already!
Happy New Year everyone!

2016 Year in Review #3
The third most popular post of the year was a response to a topic from Cee’s Fun Foto website, Black and White Close Ups. Of course, I featured my favourite animal, the elephant. 2016-06-04: CBWC-Close Ups
I spent a lot of time in Kenya amongst elephants and managed to get a good number of close up shots that I liked. I hope you enjoy this one as well.

2016-09-30: Feel Good Friday
It’s almost the weekend again! Where does the time go? While I am busy working in the background on my new photos, here is a lovely elephant from my last trip to South Africa.
Happy Friday everyone!
